Woodlouse
Project details
2009
Woodlouse is an archive into the interpenetration of the physical space around the human form, focusing on the connections between self emotions and the viewer's perceptions.
With previous investigation on the connection between emotion and dress, Woodlouse looks further into how materials may transform feelings, creating a 'shell' on the outside with 'therapeutic' lining. With the intention of using heavy aluminum at the start, materiality soon shifted to a weightless protection, light.
